Curtis Fitch has developed some pretty exciting products and we are proud of our e-commerce solutions as well as our new exciting social productivity (Qozo) and social commerce (Rockin) tools.  We are an established team with a guaranteed revenue stream and we have growth plans.

We’re on the hunt for someone to join our small but perfectly formed finance team.  Primarily you will be leading on the book-keeping and purchase ledger side of things and support where needed on others.  Think we can do things differently to benefit us or our clients?  Then shout about it and let's give it a go. What You’ll Be Doing (not exhaustive)

  • Sales Ledger: Input of sales receipts, Check quality of balances monthly and reconcile with bank, Post sales invoices and Prepare Aged Debtors report
  • Purchase Ledger: Input purchase invoices, Input payments, Prepare Aged Creditors list and Reconcile supplier statements and check quality of balances monthly
  • Nominal Ledger: Input bank payments and receipts, direct debits and credits, Input Credit Card and Expenses payments and reconcile, Set up bacs payments for suppliers monthly in accordance with cashflow, Input Payroll summary, Reconcile bank & VAT account and other data, VAT return – Process Online, Accruals and Prepayments, Sage/Xero Month End procedures
  • Reporting: Monthly Trial Balance, Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet, Budgets and Variance reporting, Prior Year comparison reporting, Monthly accounts checked by a qualified accountant, Draft Year End accounts for your accountants
  • Payroll: P45 reports for leavers, Maintenance of employees standing data such as tax details, year end P35 and P14/60 reports for the Inland Revenue and the DSS, Online filing of P14/60 and P35

What You’re Made Of

  • You’ll have a passion for data, figures and attention to detail
  • You’ll ideally have some proven work experience in this area, with an AAT qualification
  • You’ll possess excellent communication skills and enjoy dealing with people at all levels
  • You will need to be a tad on the tenacious side with a influential manner
  • You’ll love working as part of a team but also enjoy working on your own initiative
  • ●f you have experience of Xero and Sage that would be an advantage
