Are you looking for an exciting challenge and opportunity to work within our nationally recognised innovative school?

The Governors of this Church of England Primary School and Nursery are seeking to appoint a Support Assistant to work 1:1 with a child.

Grade 3 - 32.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday (term-time only).

You will need to be a good practitioner, able to work in a team, be well motivated and have high expectations with a strong commitment to raising standards. You must show commitment and enthusiasm to support our children and you will be expected to make a contribution to our busy vibrant team and be fully supportive of the aims and ethos of our Church of England Primary School.

The contract is attached to the child, if the child’s needs change or they leave the school, the contract will change/end with sufficient notice.

The start date will be asap.

You will need to be caring, enthusiastic and flexible with the ability to work under the direction of the class teacher and SENDCo and also your own initiative. The successful candidate will support the child, enabling them to successfully access the Curriculum.

Applicants will be subject to recruitment and selection procedures designed to emphasise the school’s commitment to the safeguarding of its learners and staff.

The procedures include questioning at interview stage, verification of appropriate qualification, acquiring references, and necessary safety checks.

Enhanced DBS clearance is required for the role.
