SEO Manager



This role will be part of the digital team within Endsleigh, and will work collaboratively with the wider Marketing team in order to work towards wider business targets and mirror Endsleigh’s brand across all elements of Marketing.


You will be responsible for delivery of the SEO strategy to deliver growth in SERP visibility, site visits and levels of enquiry in line with overall business objectives and targets. You should take a hands-on approach to the CMS platform to review and guide ways to further optimise navigation and the structure of metadata, pages, content, URLs and linking.

Key accountabilities include:
• Curate, implement and measure new SEO strategies for the Endsleigh website.
• Advance Endsleigh’s technical SEO by reviewing and improving the site for optimal rendering and indexing.
• Ensure that website content is search-engine friendly and optimised to maintain and increase our levels of enquiry for relevant searches.
• Carry out keyword research for gap analysis and to support new content opportunities and campaigns.
• Ensure alignment of user experience, development and content design to improve SERP rankings and minimise SEO impact of updates.
• Conduct competitor and trend analysis to both act on and report on opportunities in the competitive landscape to key stakeholders.
• Maximise the potential of Endsleigh’s existing partnerships to develop and improve the backlink profile.


A successful candidate will have experience of standard and current Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) practices and tools, along with web analytics tools. You should also demonstrate organisation and communication skills which will aid in delivering agreed outcomes.

Further experience and skills will include;
• Understanding of Search Engine Marketing
• Strong working experience of technical SEO elements (canonical tags, structured data, hreflang, web.config & htaccess redirects)
• Strong understanding of Search Engine Marketing (SEM) landscape; GMB, PPC & SEO
• Experience working with keyword tools (Google, WordTracker, Keyword Discovery, etc.)
• Experience working with CMS and building/administering content in multiple CMS environments
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS and website administration
• High-level proficiency in Google sheets and docs, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Highly competent in website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics
• Very well organised, with excellent attention to detail and knowledge of relevant tools
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment with multiple work streams,
moving at different speeds
• Strong decision maker with excellent judgement

Salary: Up to £40,000
