Marketing and Communications Executive - GP11

The Marketing teams’ goal is to educate and deepen relationships with customers, prospects, partners, analysts, journalists, influencers, colleagues and prospective employees - to ultimately drive lead generation and sales pipeline growth and acceleration. The Marketing Communications Executive will identify, scope, develop and project manage marketing programmes that drive up employee engagement, employee satisfaction and support effective recruitment.

Essential duties & responsibilities

This is a newly created position, supporting the Human Resources team to continuously improve the way we engage, communicate and share information with our colleagues and prospective employees.

You will have a passion for creating, writing and leading on campaigns and key initiatives. You'll have exceptional organisational skills and be confident working with stakeholders, including senior leadership, to support their communication needs.

This is varied role with the opportunity to get involved in a range of exciting projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • To act as Marketing account manager for the HR team and ensure that their communication needs are supported appropriately
  • Be a central point of contact for internal communications support and advice
  • Ensure key announcements, events and successes are communicated timely and are aligned to our corporate strategy
  • Coordinate internal campaigns, from concept to delivery and measurement
  • Manage Claranet Social Media accounts
  • Develop internal communications strategy in collaboration with senior stakeholders
  • Be responsible for people and culture digital marketing initiatives (social media, email marketing, advertising)
  • Drive HR key initiatives with a continual improvement mindset
  • Write, research, and seek out news stories across the business for a range of digital platforms that raise awareness and engagement.

Essential

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related discipline
  • B2B technology marketing experience
  • Energetic and positive team player with ability to build relationships across the business
  • Highly organised with outstanding time management, project and events management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrable attention to detail
  • Creative and innovative approach and proven ability to collaborate with a wide range of individuals including those from technical, operations and sales teams.
  • High levels of initiative, drive and self-motivated
  • Ability to operate in a face paced and fluid environment.
  • Ability to travel to different sites and locations on a regular basis
  • In addition, the following are highly desirable:
  • Previous experience in video interviewing, podcasts etc.
  • Proven experience in a dedicated communications role e.g. corporate communications, internal communications, or public relations.

Salary: Competitive

Hours Per Week: 37.5
