*Day Support Worker - Full Time/Part Time or Bank*


Salary: From £10.20-£11.88 per hour
Contract: bank/temp or 15 to 37.5 permanent hours available
Shifts: Days - 7:30am-3pm & 2:30pm-10pm

Please note - it is presently a government policy to have the COVID-19 Vaccine to work in this service

Do you have previous experience as a support worker, care assistant, domiciliary/home care, or residential homes then this would be ideal for you. If you are new to care, full training will be provided.

About the service

We currently provide support to 7 adults in a supported living setting. Individuals that are supported at the service may be autistic or have a diagnosis of learning disability, some individuals can display challenging behaviour. Everyone is an individual & is supported in a person centred way & no day is the same.

Support Worker duties:

  • Supporting residents to develop independence and life skills
  • Assisting people to achieve daily goals & daily activities such as arts, crafts, hobbies
  • Assisting with the development of person centred plans for our residents
  • This includes employment, education and other opportunities
  • Maintaining records and drawing up risk assessments
  • Providing personal care where needed always working towards more independence
  • Supporting people in undertaking daily activities or development
