Assistant Leisure Club Manager


Outline of Job Role:

  • Effective, team management, and training to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience.
  • Achieve sales targets
  • Assist Club Manager with managing operations including all necessary pool operations such as pool testing and water treatment procedures
  • Assist Club Manager with managing team members to ensure high motivation, provision of high quality service and ongoing development
  • Assist Club Manager with the recruiting, managing, training and development of the team
  • Assist in meeting revenue targets and overall department annual budget
  • Gym instruction (if qualified)
  • Manage customer feedback effectively to ensure continuous service and programme improvement
  • Respond to audits to ensure continual improvement is achieved
  • Liaise with other hotel departments
  • Ensure customers and guests receive friendly and consistent personalised service from all team members
  • Maintain awareness of department security related to cash, stock and equipment and ensure all department procedures are followed
  • Ensure health, safety and COSHH regulations are complied with and club rules are observed by members, clients and guests
  • Ensure all relevant checks of the Health Club are consistently completed to the expected standard

Looking For:

  • Supervisory experience within the leisure sector
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Willingness to develop team members and self
  • Willingness to carry out daily cleaning
  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
  • Ability to work on your own
  • Passion for Customer Service and ability to sell memberships
  • Relevant Fitness and pool lifeguard / responder qualifications (pool responder training will be provided if successful)

Required experience:

Do you have at least 1 year of Experience within the Leisure Industry as Supervisor / Manager

Salary: £18,500.00-£20,000.00 per year

Hours Per Week: Full-time - Permanent
