Casual Swimming & Trainee Swimming Teacher (The Pulse)

Salary: Salary starting from £9.30 per hour + 12% enhancement for casual work.

Job summary

We are looking to recruit both fully qualified and casual trainee teachers to join the very popular learn to swim team. The centre currently runs an extremely successful learn to swim programme with over 1500 people taking part in our lessons each week.

Once qualified you will teach children and adults of all ages to swim through the Pulse learn to swim programme using Swim England’s framework. Lessons include both 121 and group lessons.

Trainee Swimming Teachers

We will invest in our trainees in both level 1 and level 2 teaching qualifications along with National Pool Lifeguard or Rescue test for teachers.

Qualified Swimming Teachers

We will continue to invest in your ongoing training and give you opportunities to work in other areas of the business as well.

This is a casual position in the first instance but may lead to permanent employment once qualified. You will be required to teach both group and private lessons, with lessons taking place over 7 days a week. The centre runs a 50 week continuous programme.

Applicants will be subject to an enhanced vetting and barring clearance.
