Warehouse Assistant role – Late/Night Shift

Are you a highly organised, efficient, and accurate person? Are you seeking a position in a motivated, fast growing company? 

Eclipse Furniture are looking for a new team member to work in our busy warehouse, dealing with all aspects of assembly/manufacturing work as organized by Warehouse Manager to ensure goods are ready within time scales/deadlines required.  The role is varied, interesting, challenging and comes with the responsibility you would expect when dealing directly with our customers. This is a crucial role for the business and comes at an exciting time as the team continues to grow quickly and responsibilities within the department rise. We are currently operating a varied work pattern, but the position will be for predominantly late/nights shifts.

To be successful in this role you will
 Always ensure careful handling of all goods to minimize/eliminate damages.
 Carry out daily stock checks as arranged by management to ensure 100% accuracy.
 Ensure premises including warehouses and yard are kept 100% tidy, clean and safe. This also includes storing goods efficiently and carefully to ensure no damages.
 Drive a Forklift Truck.
 Packing, wrapping, and shipping of all goods.
 Quality check all goods in to ensure no damages/faults.
 Quality check all goods out to ensure no damages/faults.
 Carry out loading/unloading of all vehicles safely.
 Ensure goods in paperwork is received, checked, and passed to relevant team. No products to be received without paperwork.
 Ensure all relevant documentation is provided to drivers for deliveries/collections.
 Notify management with paperwork if damages occur.
 Maintain all equipment e.g. forklifts to ensure they are kept in good working order.
 Ensure fixings/parts stock is kept accurate and up to date. Inform Procurement Team when items are required.
 To be flexible to divert to other tasks, roles, and shift times according to the dictate of management.

Salary from £20k, subject to experience, hours 12.30 – 10pm, this may change to a night shift in
the near future, when we move premises.
