Ampney Crucis C of E Primary School is looking for a flexible and enthusiastic person who can join our team to support a Key Stage 1 child’s Education and Health Care Plan working 15 hours a week as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant for a child in Year 1.
This post would also be suitable for an unqualified person looking for start their career as a TA, this would be paid at a Grade 3 pts 4-6. (£18,933-£19,688 pro rota.)
We are a small, inclusive school who encourages all our children to flourish in many different ways. We are looking for someone who can model our vision and empower our children to live, learn and flourish in a positive and nurturing way.
In the first instance the contract is fixed term to the end of the academic year, Summer 2021, when the SEN need and the provision for the 1:1 child will be reviewed.

• Be a team player and have good communication skills
• Is able to work collaboratively with all members of the school community – in particular the class teachers
• Is enthusiastic, hardworking, patient, caring and self-motivated
• Be supportive of the Christian Ethos of the school
• We can offer you a nurturing, family friendly school with amazing and caring children who love learning
• Experience of working with children who have speech and language needs would be desirable.
