TEACHING ASSISTANT

Stroud

Salary: NJC Grade 3, Scale point 04 – 06 from £19,264 per annum pro rata (Actual starting salary £14,945 per annum)

Full-time: 33 hours 10 minutes per week, term time only plus inset days Monday to Thursday 8.45 am to 4 pm & Friday 8.45 am to 3.45 pm (with a daily 40 minute unpaid break) plus 30 minutes per week for team meetings

Interview Date: TBC

Start Date: September 2022

Status: Full-time but Part-time would be considered, please state which hours you would require if applying.

Applications are invited for the position of Teaching Assistant. We require additional Teaching Assistants to work term time plus INSET days.

St Rose's provision is from 2 to 25 years; a nursery, a non-maintained special school for students from 5 to 19 and St Martin’s an independent specialist college for students from 19 to 25. Our students have
physical and sensory disabilities, learning and communication difficulties and complex health needs.

We are looking for committed Teaching Assistants to work with our students to give them the individual attention they need to help them achieve their potential and to assist them with their personal care needs.

Experience with children/young people with ASD would be an advantage.
