  • Grade 3 points 4-6 £18,887 - £19,650 FTE FTE – 0.731 Pro-rata £13,806 - £14,364
  • Term time only, 8.30 – 3.30, 5 days per week

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant for students with Additional Educational Needs (AEN) in Years 7-11. Tasks will include in-class support across the age range for students with AEN, liaising with staff and appropriate professionals and supporting independent work.

The successful candidate will be flexible in their approach, a good listener and communicator, have positive attitudes to young people and good organisational skills. Previous experience of working with young people would be an advantage but not essential. Qualifications are desirable, however all necessary training will be given to the successful applicant.

Marling School has a highly committed staff team with extremely well motivated students. The AEN department is a small but dynamic team that looks to be at the forefront of teaching and learning development.
