Volunteers needed for a variety of roles

HOLST VICTORIAN HOUSE
The Holst Victorian House has recently been rebranded from its former name as the Holst Birthplace Museum, to reflect its dual aspects, ie as the house where Gustav Holst, composer of the Planets, was born in 1874, as well as being a museum of Victorian life. New volunteers are always needed, for a variety of roles, but importantly for Front of House duties, welcoming visitors and other regular and ad hoc duties.
No particular knowledge of Holst or Victorian history is required, and induction and shadowing experienced volunteers is provided. A number of former members of staff are volunteers, so there may be some familiar faces!
