Event Technician - Full-Time Event Staff - Event Technician
Gloucester
Major Entertainments LTD are a thriving events business offering a range of production & hire services to both private and trade customers.
We are looking for someone new to join our event / technical staff to support the warehouse team in the preparation, delivery, set-up and collection of hire equipment.
Your main roles and responsibilities will be:
- Delivery & set-up of equipment in accordance with job plans and client/venue instructions
- Liaise with clients & venues on site
- Assist clients with loading & unloading of hires
- Check for shortages & damages to hire stock
- Cleaning hire stock and test for functionality and safety
- Keep warehouse clean & tidy
- Represent the company and /or its clients at all times
The right candidate will be:
- Hardworking and enthusiastic
- Well-presented, friendly and approachable
- Over 21 years old
- Physically able to lift heavy items
- A keen interest in events, sound, visuals and lighting would be an advantage
- ideally, a clean driving licence, held for more than 1 year
Hours of work: 32 Hours contracted including weekend and evening work as required/discussed
Overtime available most weeks
Salary base on based 32 hour week, But overtime available most weeks, wage is negotiable for the right candidate
Location: Warehouse and office based in Tuffley, Gloucester
