Health Care Assistant

We are looking to recruit an experienced HCA and you will need to be skilled in or motivated to learn wound care including leg ulcer management, venepuncture, vaccination, ECGs.  The successful applicant needs excellent communications and strong computer skills; be able to work within a friendly supportive team, use their own initiative and multitask within a busy healthcare environment whilst maintaining a good sense of humour!

Experience of working in a Health Care Assistant in General Practice is desirable. We are proud of our ethos as a training practice.

A normal shift pattern would usually involve one early morning start at 7.30am. Your shift allocation will remain the same each week unless adjustments are required for absences, such as holiday. Flexibility is desirable for sickness and holiday cover.

Salary will be £11.44 – £12.50 per hour, depending on experience. Plus the option of the excellent NHSpension scheme, 28 days annual leave + bank holidays on a pro-rata basis, cycle to work scheme offered on completion of probation, free on-site parking. Uniform provided.
