A lead supplier of optical transceivers and fibre cables focusing on the UK market focusing on end user and trade accounts. Established since 2018, we support resellers and network integrators within the private sector and government organisation's as well as education providers. At Switch SFP Ltd we pride ourselves on our excellent customer experience, ensuring all our UK stock conforms to the various international formats.

The Role

The Account Executive will play an active role within the business, enhancing the business performance along with its reputation to deliver an effective and efficient service. The successful candidate will have a high attention to detail along with a “can do” mindset. There is a vast amount of knowledge that needs to be absorbed to ensure we provide the best service possible.

The role will be predominantly office based.

Key Duties will be:

  • Develop enhanced and supportive relationships with key strategic partners and clients in a systematic and measurable way
  • Identify new sales opportunities, respond to leads and enquiries
  • Maintain effective communication and contact through regular calls, meetings and engagements with new sales, key partners and clients as required.
  • Arrange and co-ordinate meetings and engagements with key partners wherever required
  • On time delivery and completion of projects and objectives
  • Sales and operational administrative tasks

Skills and Experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident presenting to clients, with strong consultation and negotiation abilities
  • Experience managing projects
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask
  • A proactive, persuasive attitude with confidence managing client relationships
