Must haves

  • At least two years' experience in a finance or accounts role 
  • Part-qualified (AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or qualified through relevant experience 
  • Experience completing account reconciliations and producing accounts to trial balance 
  • Strong Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables 
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail 
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise across different teams 
  • Experience processing supplier invoices and payments 
  • Collaborative approach and willingness to learn and develop 

Nice to haves

  • Experience handling client money 
  • Experience reconciling insurer statements
  • Experience processing payments within a regulated environment 

So, what will you be doing?

  • Taking ownership of account reconciliations and supporting the production of monthly accounts to trial balance
  • Processing supplier invoices and ensuring payments are made accurately and on time 
  • Supporting day-to-day finance operations as the business continues to grow 
  • Working closely with colleagues across the business to resolve finance queries
  • Supporting the implementation of new finance processes linked to business growth and regulatory requirements 
  • Assisting with insurer statement reconciliations and payment processes where required 
  • Helping maintain accurate financial records and controls across the organisation
