Personal Accountant (one day per week)
Cheltenham
Based in Cheltenham town centre, M R Ratcliffe Insurance Brokers is a specialist insurance broker focusing on the haulage industry.
The Company requires an experienced Accountant to handle the Managing Director’s private business and personal accounting.
Candidates should be suitably qualified, with an extensive working knowledge of using Sage 50 and Excel spreadsheets to accomplish the following key tasks:
- Maintain full accounts including P&L and BS responsibility for Limited Companies, Sole Traders and Charities
- Produce Monthly Management Accounts
- Perform multiple bank reconciliations and report bank movement to the MD
- Process supplier and contractor electronic payments
- Liaise with Accountants and Bank Managers
- Deal with statutory requirements for Companies House
- Administer the MD’s Directors Loan Account and reporting
- Manage the MD’s personal and family finances
The position is for one day per week negotiable,with the flexibility to work additional hours if required. This could be on an employed or self-employed basis.
