Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 DOE
Are you looking to build a successful career in Tax with a leading accountancy practice that will invest in your professional development from day one?
Our client is a highly regarded and growing accountancy firm with an excellent reputation for deliv ering expert tax and advisory services to businesses and individuals across the region. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a motivated and ambitious Tax Assistant to join their established tax team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate, AAT qualified professional, ATT student, or an individual with existing tax experience who is looking to develop their technical expertise and progress within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.
Role Responsibilities
Assisting with the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns.
Supporting senior team members with tax compliance and advisory projects.
Preparing tax computations and supporting schedules.
Liaising with HMRC regarding client matters.
Maintaining accurate client records and documentation.
Assisting with tax planning assignments and research projects.
Supporting the completion of capital gains tax and inheritance tax calculations where appropriate.
Building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and regulations.
About You
Previous experience within an accountancy practice or tax environment is desirable.
AAT qualified, ATT part-qualified, graduate calibre, or keen to commence professional studies.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proactive, organised and eager to learn.
A genuine interest in developing a long-term career within tax.
