Senior Accountant

Location: Near Clifton, Bristol

Position: Full time/Part time, permanent

Salary: up to £60k DOE

I am delighted to be working with an established Accountancy Practice near to Clifton in Bristol. They are looking to add a senior member of the team to join them due to workload. You'll bring strong experience from within an accountancy practice and either be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA or QBE) or part-qualified with extensive hands-on knowledge. In this role, you'll also play a key part in mentoring junior staff, and contributing to succession planning across the business.

Duties include:

• Preparing year-end accounts for a range of clients
• Managing tax returns and related queries
• Supporting and delivering audit work
• Acting as a key senior point of contact for clients
• Guiding and supporting junior team members in their development
• Playing a proactive role in succession planning and the future structure of the team
