As a Tax and Treasury Accountant, you'll manage tax compliance and treasury activities to support the smooth financial operation of the organisation. Based in Bristol, this role plays a key part in ensuring accurate reporting and effective financial planning in the not-for-profit sector.

Description

  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and deadlines, including VAT and corporate tax submissions.
  • Manage treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting and investment planning.
  • Prepare accurate financial reports and statements for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the organisation with tax planning and provide advice on tax-efficient practices.
  • Maintain and update financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and controls.
  • Respond to audit queries and assist with external audits as required.
  • Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organisation.

Profile

A successful Tax and Treasury Accountant should have:

  • Strong knowledge of tax regulations, including VAT and corporate tax.
  • Experience in treasury management, including cash flow forecasting and investments.
  • Proficiency in preparing financial reports and maintaining accurate records.
  • Ability to provide clear and practical tax advice to internal stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • A recognised accounting qualification or relevant professional experience.

Job Offer

  • Salary ranging up 58,000 dependent on the level of experience.

  • 12 month FTC position based in Bristol.
  • Full time role - 2 days per week in the office - 3 days from home

Salary: £52,000 to £58,000 Annual +
