Senior Accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA Qualified)

We’re seeking an experienced and qualified accountant with strong technical ability and a meticulous approach to their work.

Your Main Responsibilities
As an Accountant in our practice, you’ll work across a range of client accounts, ensuring all financial statements, tax returns, and reports are prepared accurately, efficiently, and to a high professional standard.
Your duties will include:
- Preparing Self-Assessment Tax Returns.
- Preparing and reviewing corporate year-end accounts and corporation tax returns in accordance with UK GAAP.
- Producing management accounts and supporting clients with financial insights.
- Acting as the main point of contact for a range of clients, building long-term, trusted relationships.
- Contributing to the effectiveness and consistency of the team’s accounting processes and quality controls.
What You’ll Need
This role requires solid experience and professional qualification. It’s not suitable for entry-level candidates.
Essential
- ACCA, ACA, or CIMA
- 5+ years’ experience performing similar duties in a UK accountancy firm.
- Proficiency is using Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and statutory reporting.
Desirable
- Working knowledge of FRS 102 and FRS 105.
- Interest in supporting client advisory work.
- Experience with Xero, QuickBooks and Taxcalc
