Customer Service and Operations Coordinator

The Cyber Scheme is an examination and training organisation for technical cyber security consultants. We are licensed by the UK Cyber Security Council to award individuals with professional titles appropriate to their current and ongoing career development. The professional titles awarded are highly regarded vocational qualifications, necessary for cyber security professionals to work within Government and Critical National Infrastructure. The Cyber Scheme have a modern training and assessment centre in central Cheltenham to carry out our training and assessments and we also deliver assessments throughout the UK and internationally as needed.
Working in the Operations team
We have grown quickly over the past year and are now looking to expand our team with a Customer Service and Operations Coordinator. This will involve working with and supporting our operations team, responding to inbound queries, scheduling exams, liaising with assessors and various admin tasks. A comprehensive knowledge of MS Office including Excel, Word and Co-Pilot is required. Knowledge of Wordpress would also be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Booking, scheduling, and coordinating exams and training
- Liaising with and supporting exam and training candidates throughout the whole booking process
- Responding to questions and queries in a timely and professional manner, handling complaints and making changes to scheduled events as needed
- Booking locations nationwide and scheduling external contractors to conduct exams
- Updating the exams and training calendars using MS Office and on our website
- Issuing certificates and badges to successful candidates
- Collecting and collating feedback from exams and training course candidates
- Supporting the Operations team with data entry, documentation, reporting, and admin tasks
- Troubleshooting operational issues and escalating to the Operations Manager where necessary

Experience
Experience in a similar job role is desirable but not essential, as training will be given, and we value attitude most highly. Please note this is a customer-facing admin role, NOT an entry level cyber role. Applicants with cyber security qualifications will not be considered.
Location
Office based in Cheltenham, with work from home opportunities. Please note, you must be based in Gloucestershire or within easy commuting distance to be considered for this role and will be expected to be in the office for four days per week initially
