About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Funding and Contracting team and to support the breadth of services being provided.
Ensuring accuracy with the administration of the services National Star delivers is a vital role to make sure service users get the provision they require and the organisation is correctly remunerated.
Working closely with your colleagues, you will:
*Administer the processes that ensure signed contractual funding agreements are in place for all education, respite, residential and therapy services.
*Support the administration of applications to National Star’s respite service, submit documents to commissioners, following up as required and advising internal teams of funding decisions and other relevant information.
*Liaise with commissioners to obtain all invoicing details and fee contributions to ensure invoicing for all provision takes place within agreed internal timescales.
*Support the administration of processes carried out by the Funding and Contracting Team, including maintaining accurate student records.
As a proficient user of IT software, you will need to be quick to pick up how systems are used and always be looking for how these can be improved. You will need to be dedicated to accuracy and have an eye for detail. You will need to understand the principles of protecting service users’ data and be tenacious in getting the details you need to keep records up to date.
Based primarily at the Ullenwood site near Cheltenham, you will also work closely with colleagues at all the other National Star sites. In agreement with your Line Manager, and subject to review if required, a proportion of home working can be considered after initial training period. There may be a requirement to visit other locations of service delivery and to attend meetings, events, conferences or training.
