Founded in 1982, RJ Hall Forklifts has dedicated itself to servicing and repairing forklift trucks. With over 40 years in the Industry, RJ Hall Forklifts is one of the longest standing independent industrial forklift truck and material handling. Over this period building an excellent reputation with its customers with an honest and reliable service.

We are a family owned and run business and we are looking for a office administrator join the team working from our premises in Winchcombe. 

  • Respond to emails and telephone calls as necessary, dealing with any related queries
  • Manage truck records using database ensuring truck details, service reports and Thorough Examination reports are kept up to date
  • Maintain customer records ensuring contacts and information are up to date
  • Raise Work Orders for breakdowns, repairs, servicing and Thorough Examinations
  • Generate invoices for the above
  • Send reminders to customers each month for services and Thorough Examinations due
  • Send quotations to customer when required
  • Allocate P.O. numbers to customer orders
  • Schedule jobs into the diary
  • Chase up outstanding services and repairs due
  • Maintain records for trucks on hire and generate invoices as necessary
  • Raise Hire Agreements for new hires
  • Deal with enquiries for forklift operator training and liaise with training provider to book courses in
  • Generate invoices for the above and ensure certificates are forwarded to customer upon completion
  • Maintain parts details and pricing on database
  • Deal with returns of faulty parts to suppliers
  • Monitor stocks of stationery and place orders as necessary
  • Accurate filing of all records and reports

Attributes needed

  • Knowledge of sage accounting products
  • Well organised and methodical with a good eye for detail
  • Friendly approachable nature with the ability to communicate easily with customers, suppliers and team members
  • Good IT skills using Outlook, Word, Excel and the company database
  • Reliable and conscientious
  • Prepared to be flexible
  • Good sense of humour
  • Happy to work with dogs in the office

Salary: £19000-£26000pa dependent on experience

Hours Per Week: 24 (3 days) - 32 hours (4 days) a week
