Programme Coordinator – Cheltenham – Permanent (37.5 hours per week) – £40,000 - £50,000 per annum – SC or DV Clearance

Our client supports government organisations in their training and development and is looking for an organised and proactive People/Programme Coordinators to coordinate training and apprenticeships, be the point of contact for clients.

You will also need to lead a small team so leadership experience is essential.

Working Patterns: This role is hybrid with 2-3 days on site per week.

The Key Responsibilities of a Programme Coordinator:

  • Lead a small team of Programme Coordinators, ensuring they are meetings SLAs/KPIs and are confident in their work.
  • You will act as the trusted advisor and first point of contact to clients.
  • Coordinate the delivery of training and apprenticeship programmes for clients.
  • Create and maintain programme plans to track progress.
  • Set up and lead service reviews and ensure Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators are met.
  • Ensure successful completion of training and apprenticeship programmes.
  • Manage and prioritise coordination activities to meet internal and external requirements.
  • Maintain excellence in coordination activities including answering stakeholder queries, onboarding, managing commercials and evaluating programme feedback.

Below is a list of Key Skills required for the Programme Coordinator role, however you will not be expected to have
everything:

  • Experience within Defence/National Security.
  • Some leadership experience is essential.
  • A confident coordinator, programme coordination experience would be ideal.
  • Experienced at building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Good administration skills.
  • Effective soft skills and emotional intelligence facilitating effective written and verbal communication.
  • Proficient in analysing, evaluating and reporting data.
  • Microsoft office (including Excel and PowerPoint).
