We’re seeking an organised, detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist for a 3–4  month temporary contract with potential extension.

If you have strong Excel skills, excellent attention to detail, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Supply Chain Expeditor and wider team
  • Review and manage the Progress Queue daily, ensuring urgent and general tasks are actioned within deadlines
  • Update and review the KPI spreadsheet weekly, analysing performance and identifying improvement opportunities
  • Communicate overdue order updates to customers via phone and email with clear, concise details
  • Liaise with UK Supply & Planning teams to obtain up-to-date product information and confirm delivery dates
  • Expedite overdue orders and proactively manage the future fails list to prevent delays
  • Support with supplier purchase order tracking, quotations, and lead-time requests
  • Cover the Expeditor role when required, ensuring operational continuity
  • Assist the Operational Support Executive and other team members with supplier queries and ad-hoc tasks
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure smooth operations

What we’re looking for

 

  • Strong Excel skills and is confident handling data
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, busy environment
  • Can manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
  • Communicates clearly and professionally across departments and with customers
  • Has previous administrative or supply chain experience (preferred but not essential)

What you’ll get

  • Salary: £24,000 – £26,000
  • Contract: 3–4 months with the potential to extend
  • Hybrid working: 2–3 days from home after training
