County Welfare and Safeguarding Officer/ Administrator
Gloucester
We’re looking for a proactive, organised individual to work with and support the Gloucestershire YFC members.
As part of the role:
- You would be the county’s Welfare and Safeguarding officer
- Handle DBS Checks for our members
- Deliver Safeguarding training to club officers
- Manage emails, calls and the county diary
- Book judges, stewards, venues, and assistant arranging events
- Prepare meeting agendas and take minutes
- Attend regional meetings
- Oversea social media
- Based in our Gloucester office
- Would need to finish at 9 pm every other Wednesday
Our ideal candidate:
- Experienced in event planning and admin
- IT literate and confident with social media
- May have previous safeguarding/ youth organisation experience
- Driving Licence to attend events and meetings
This role has flexible hours to be discussed to work best for employer and employee.
Gloucestershire Federation Of Young Farmers is a voluntary youth organisation offering its members, who have an interest in the countryside and rural issues, opportunities for training and personal development, community involvement, participation in numerous competitions and events together with a varied social life. GFYFC has 10 clubs from Moreton in Marsh in the North to Sodbury Vale in the South.
