We are seeking a talented and committed individual with excellent data skills to join our Finance Technical Team. In this vital role, you will help us maximise the value of every public pound to keep our communities safe.
As a Technical Finance Officer, you will assist with the preparation of year-end financial statements and other statutory returns, participate in annual audits, process pensions and payroll administration requests, complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and carry out financial system maintenance tasks. You will support the Finance Team by helping to gather and prepare financial information making sure it is accurate and well organised.
You will report to the Senior Technical Finance Officer and work collaboratively with the wider Finance Team sharing ideas, learnings and best practices.
We are looking for individuals who have good analytical skills, attention to detail and are able to interpret and analyse data.

The successful candidate for this role will be vetted at level Staff RV. This means the individual will need at least 3 years worth of residency in the UK.
