Description 
The Traffic Process Case Assistant plays a key role in supporting the Traffic Prosecution Team by preparing and managing cases progressed through the Single Justice Procedure (SJP) process. This includes the creation of Single Justice Procedure Notices (SJPNs) and the ongoing administration of cases until a Not Guilty plea is received.

Single Justice Procedure Notices enable a variety of traffic-related offences to be progressed efficiently through the Magistrates’ Court. These offences cover a wide range of road traffic matters, including those linked to the ‘Fatal Five’—key contributing factors to serious and fatal road collisions.

By ensuring timely and accurate processing of SJPNs, the Traffic Process Case Assistant contributes directly to bringing offenders to justice and supporting wider efforts to improve road safety across Gloucestershire.

The successful candidate for this role will be vetted at level Staff RV. This means the individual will need at least 3 years worth of residency in the UK.

The proposed interview date is 24th June.
