VEHICLE RECOVERY & ABNORMAL LOADS OFFICER
I am looking for a new member of staff to join our small team to deal with the administration of the vehicle recovery scheme and abnormal loads. This will involve dealing with members of the public, DVLA, recovery operators and Officers.
You will be required to visit operator bases to collect or authorise disposal of property from recovered vehicles and audit procedures on a regular basis.
The movement of abnormal loads through the County is authorised by this role and you will be required to ensure movement notifications are dealt with, efficiently identifying when movements require self-escort or Police escorts.
This is a busy role and flexibility is key in order to meet deadlines. Please review role profile for full duties and responsibilities.
As this role is part time, the working days are Wednesday to Friday.
The successful candidate for this role will be vetted at level Staff RV. This means the individual will need at least 3 years worth of residency in the UK.
