We're partnering with a well-established, product-led consumer brand with a strong creative vision and a genuine commitment to quality. They're a business where product really matters - and where the people behind it are given the space to grow, contribute and make a real difference. With a collaborative culture, a broad and exciting product range, and a genuine focus on sustainability and ethical sourcing, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take their next step in a brand that truly takes pride in what it produces.
The Role
Reporting to the Production Manager, you'll play a hands-on role in bringing new products to life - from initial spec right through to delivery. You'll work closely with internal teams and an international supplier base, keeping production on track, on budget and to the highest standards. It's a varied role that touches everything from product specifications and supplier correspondence to compliance, sustainability and scheduling - perfect for someone who loves being close to the product and wants to build real expertise across the full production process.
What you'll be doing
- Defining product specifications including materials, dimensions, print and decoration
- Managing day-to-day correspondence with an international manufacturer supply base
- Coordinating stock ordering - from obtaining quotes and confirming specs through to raising purchase orders
- Formulating and maintaining production schedules to keep projects on track across the portfolio
- Supporting the Production Manager with WIP reports, target pricing and margin management
- Working with the Compliance and Technical team to ensure products meet safety, ethical and sustainability standards
- Helping to maintain FSC accreditation and uphold the brand's sustainability commitments
What we're looking for
- Some experience in a production, buying, product development or supply chain coordination role
- Brilliant attention to detail - you take real pride in keeping specs, schedules and reports accurate
- A confident and proactive communicator, comfortable building relationships with suppliers and manufacturers
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines at once
- A genuine interest in sustainability, ethical sourcing and responsible production
- Commercially aware with a basic understanding of pricing, margins and cost management
- A team player who enjoys working cross-functionally with product, logistics and compliance teams
- Willingness to travel to trade shows and supplier visits in the UK and internationally
This is a brilliant role for someone who's eager to learn, loves variety and wants to grow their career inside a brand that does things the right way - creatively, commercially and ethically. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
