An exciting opportunity to join a warm, close-knit team where everyone mucks in and supports one another. Our client has a niche client base and is looking to welcome an enthusiastic and personable individual to their team on a full-time, permanent basis, based from their spacious offices in Mitcheldean.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start or develop their career within an office environment. Previous office or administration experience would be beneficial, but it is by no means essential as all training will be provided. What really matters is your personality, attitude and willingness to learn.

Working closely with the wider team, you will be trained across a variety of areas including customer accounts, credit checks, risk management, customer queries and debt recovery. You'll need to be someone who isn't afraid to ask questions, get stuck in and take on new challenges as you build your knowledge and confidence.

There is plenty of opportunity to learn, develop and progress within the business, with a number of different routes available as your experience grows.

Responsibilities:
-Setting up and maintaining customer and client accounts
-Carrying out credit checks and due diligence, with full training provided
-Keeping customer records, account information and credit limits accurate and up to date
-Responding to customer enquiries and managing a shared inbox
-Investigating account queries and disputes
-Supporting customers with payment queries and arrangements
-Assisting with debt recovery and the preparation of relevant documentation
-Helping to identify potential risks and ensuring these are dealt with appropriately
-Working closely with colleagues across the business to resolve queries and provide excellent customer service
-Taking on additional responsibilities as your knowledge and confidence develops

Candidate Attributes:

-Proactive and willing to get stuck in and help wherever needed
-Confident using a computer and happy to learn new systems
-A team player who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm (option to work 1 day from home)

Salary & Benefits: Up to £26,500 per annum + company benefits including company pension, 22 days holiday plus bank holidays (rising with length of service), an additional paid day off for your birthday, optional health insurance and health cash plan, free on-site parking, team incentives and Christmas & summer parties.
