Job Description Senior Office Administrator Wotton under Edge c£35,000 depending on experience Renishaw is a global leader in precision engineering, manufacturing, and technology innovation. We are currently seeking a Senior Office Administrator with strong coordination and communication skills to support the Encoder Products Division. Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Senior Office Administrator will provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the office and assist the leadership team in managing day-to-day operations. This role is pivotal in maintaining efficiency, supporting staff and coordinating office activities. This role based at our New Mills site near Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire. Occasional travel to other sites may be required, depending on business needs. For this role we require on-site support every day across the week from Monday to Friday but we are open to discussing the possibility of reduced hours and adjusted start and finish times. Responsibilities Act as first point of contact for day-to-day queries from divisional staff Organise and manage events in the UK such as conferences and visits from foreign staff and customers Manage new starter onboarding process Coordination and support of early careers staff Coordinate travel arrangements and support expense processing for staff Maintain and develop the divisional SharePoint site Coordinate divisional Communications Meetings Assist with the coordination of charity teambuilding events Provide a degree of PA support to Senior Management Assist with Health & Safety and training administration Manage office supplies, equipment and facilities Maintain accurate records and keep databases up to date Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures Liaison between division and other support areas to ensure issues addressed in a timely manner, (for example Information Technology and Security, Cleaning and Facilities) Manage PPE provision for divisional staff Key Requirements Confident communicator Significant relevant experience in office administration or similar roles Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail Proficient at multi-tasking Capable of a high standard of verbal and written communication Proficient with Microsoft Office applications A full UK driving license Desirable requirements Experience of maintaining and developing SharePoint resources Person specification We are looking for a motivated self-starter who can engage with the whole division, capable of confident communication with anyone, regardless of seniority. You should be quick to embed yourself within the divisional culture and work out what needs to be done to keep things running smoothly and support the day to day running of the business. You will be at the centre of things and should not be phased by spontaneous requests for help and support and should be motivated to help people solve problems.
