Our client based in Quedgeley is a national business with staff geographically spread across the UK and Northern Ireland. They are currently seeking a permanent Contract Pricing Coordinator to join their growing and dynamic team. In this role, you’ll manage pricing across the company’s contracts to help protect and improve profit margins. This involves making sure agreed price increases are identified and applied at the right time, as well as flagging contracts that are significantly underpriced so they can be reviewed and renegotiated. The position plays an important part in fixing past gaps in pricing control, helping to prevent lost revenue, keep up with inflation, and ensure more consistent and effective commercial practices across all customer contracts.
Responsibilities:
-Manage and apply contract price increases in line with agreed inflation measures, internal strategy, and contractual terms.
-Identify upcoming price uplifts in advance and ensure they are prepared and implemented on time.
-Work with internal teams to make sure pricing updates are correctly recorded and shared where needed.
-Review contracts to identify underpriced agreements, margin erosion, and outdated pricing structures.
-Analyse pricing data to highlight risks and opportunities, supporting informed commercial decisions.
-Support the Sales team in renegotiating underpriced contracts by providing pricing rationale,
-Create and maintain a central pricing tracker covering contract details, key dates, pricing changes, and status updates.
-Record customer feedback, objections, and negotiation progress within the tracker.
-Ensure the tracker remains accurate, up to date, and used as the single source of truth.
-Produce regular reports on pricing activity, including progress, delays, risks, and key issues.
-Highlight common customer objections and trends to inform future pricing strategies.
-Support regional and local customer accounts with pricing analysis and insight.
-Provide additional pricing support to national accounts when required.
-Act as a central point of coordination between Sales, Operations, and other teams on pricing matters.
-Any other ad-hoc duties as required
Candidate Attributes:
-Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with hight attention to detail.
-Ability to interpret contract terms and pricing schedules.
-Experience managing trackers, reports, and structured data sets (Excel or equivalent).
-Confident communicator, able to present pricing insight clearly and objectively.
-Organised and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
Flexible Working -
Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week (flexible start and finish time) - one day per week WFH
Salary – £26,509 + attractive benefits package + free onsite parking
