About the Company
We are a specialist Ecology consultancy based in Gloucestershire, and we are expanding our small but growing team working on projects throughout the UK. We are seeking a reliable and organised Office Administrator to support the smooth running of the business.
Role Summary
This is a busy, varied administrative role supporting the directors. The successful candidate will handle daily administrative tasks and general office finance tasks, manage incoming enquiries, and ensure that documentation and reports are handled accurately and on time. Full training will be provided on internal systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the directors
• Support invoicing, processing of expenses, and general office finance tasks
• Handle incoming calls and emails, ensuring queries are dealt with promptly
• Format documents including letters and reports
• Coordinate diaries, arrange meetings and manage travel
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and all members of the team
Requirements
• Previous experience in a busy, customer-focused, office-based role is advantageous
• An ability to prioritise conflicting administration duties and meet deadlines
• Good organisational and multitasking skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) and confident with general computer systems
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Professional and reliable, with attention to detail and accuracy
• Confidence working with numbers and spreadsheets
• Trustworthy and discreet with confidential information
• Someone who stays calm and reliable when plans change or deadlines shift
• A flexible attitude — happy to help wherever needed
Hours, Salary & Location
Hours: Monday–Friday (37.5 hours a week - 9am to 5pm)
Location: This is an office based role in Teddington, Gloucestershire, GL20 8NE. Our office is based in a semi rural location with no public transport so the successful applicant will need to be able to travel to the office reliably.

Salary: £25,000 to £28,000 depending on experience
