Health & Safety Administrator
Location: Cirencester
Salary: 30,000 - 33,000 per annum
Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week
Hybrid Working: 2-3 days working from home
Our client is looking for an organised and proactive Health & Safety Administrator to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous health and safety administration experience, or someone who has supported a health and safety function in another industry, and is looking to further develop their career. Working as part of a supportive HSEQ team, you'll play a key role in ensuring compliance, maintaining accurate records and supporting a wide range of health and safety activities across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Health & Safety team.
- Maintain accurate health and safety records, documentation and compliance trackers.
- Coordinate audits, inspections and compliance activities.
- Monitor and update HSEQ systems, databases and records.
- Prepare reports, meeting packs, minutes and compliance documentation.
- Support accident, incident and near-miss reporting and investigations.
- Manage training records, certifications and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate PPE ordering, stock control and equipment records.
- Assist with ISO audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support environmental, sustainability and quality projects.
- Liaise with employees and managers to provide health and safety administrative support.
- Ensure policies, procedures and documentation remain accurate and up to date.
About You
- Previous administration experience within a Health & Safety, HSEQ or compliance environment.
- Candidates with previous experience supporting a Health & Safety function in another industry will also be considered.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work proactively.
- A positive, professional and collaborative approach.
