Location: Stonehouse, Gloucestershire

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Salary: 27,000 per annum, depending on experience
Employment Status: Permanent

Key Responsibilities of an Office Administrator

  • Provide general office administration and support daily operations.
  • Answer telephone calls and respond to emails professionally.
  • Support the Sales and Accounts teams with administrative tasks.
  • Process and maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Handle customer enquiries and provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist with quotations, customer orders and sales administration.
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
  • Support invoice processing, purchase orders and financial administration.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Friendly, approachable and professional manner.
  • Confident written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Competent using Microsoft Office and computerised systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workloads.
  • Reliable, proactive and able to work independently.

Essential Criteria of an Office Administrator

  • Previous experience in office administration, customer service or a similar role.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Professional approach when dealing with customers and suppliers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible approach and willingness to support colleagues.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience in a small business or distribution environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP or CRM systems.
  • Experience supporting Sales and Accounts functions.
  • Experience processing orders, quotations, invoices or purchase orders.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
  • Experience maintaining filing systems, preparing reports or supporting returns and deliveries.
