Event Assistant – Cheltenham Gold Cup
Location: Cheltenham Racecourse
Temporary Role March 2025 (Gold Cup Week)
Hourly Rate £12.55 per hour
Join the excitement of the Cheltenham Gold Cup and be part of one of the most prestigious events in horse racing! We’re looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Information Attendants to provide exceptional service and ensure guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience.
Your Role:
As an Information Attendant, you’ll be the go-to person for visitors, helping them with event information, directions, and general inquiries. You’ll be positioned at key areas across the racecourse, acting as a friendly face for attendees and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing accurate information about race schedules, facilities, and services
- Assisting with directions and guiding guests around the venue
- Managing inquiries and resolving any issues with a positive approach
- Working closely with event staff to ensure the smooth running of the event
- Representing the Cheltenham Gold Cup with a professional and welcoming attitude
Essential skills:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Friendly, approachable, and confident in dealing with the public
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment
- A flexible approach and willingness to work varied hours
- Previous experience in customer service or events is an advantage but not essential
