Temporary Staffing Coordinator, Band 3

Job summary
The post holder will play a key role in the smooth running and continuous improvement of our Trust temporary staffing processes. A vital service that works closely with clinical and corporate areas organising suitable cover to ensure quality of care for our service users.
Working in a close and friendly team you will be in a fast paced environment handling day-to-day tasks such as new shifts to cover, arranging bank assignments, liaising with agencies to ensure processes are adhered to and compliance requirements are met, basic systems training, complaints, data entry, and general queries.
If you are a creative person with a passion for innovation and improving quality this could be the role for you - the successful candidate will work closely with the team and wider department to constantly find ways of improving how we work.
Additional working pattern details: Shift work 07:30 - 19:30 7 days per week
Main duties of the job
- Respond to incoming queries and shift cover requests
- Keeping up to date records on the Temporary Staffing System
- Manage the Temporary Staffing email inboxes
-Liaise with departmental managers and agencies to support the temporary staffing process
- Deliver basic system training to managers
- Ensure compliance is up to date and temporary staffing processes are followed
- Supporting with recruiting candidates to our bank pool
- Attend Weekly team catch ups
- Attend monthly Team Meetings
- Undertake Training as required
- Maintain a high-level of confidentiality
