Registered Service Manager - Children's Home, Bristol, 55,000 per year
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Registered Service Manager to lead a team in a children's home, providing support and guidance to care leavers aged 16-18 years old. The successful candidate will have a strong background in health and social care, with a minimum of Level 3 NVQ in Leadership and management and Ofsted registration. This is a permanent role, working 40 hours a week, offering a competitive salary of 55,000 per annum.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of support workers to provide high-quality care and support to young people in a children's home setting
- Develop and implement individualised care plans to help care leavers gain skills for independent living
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and standards, maintaining a high level of quality care and support
- Collaborate with external agencies and professionals to provide a holistic approach to care and support
- Manage budgets, resources, and staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum Level 3 NVQ in Leadership and management
- Ofsted registration
- At least 24 months of experience in supported living accommodations for young people
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in team management and development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with young people, staff, and external agencies
