Kennel Assistant

Waterloo Kennels, Cheltenham, have a fantastic opportunity for a Kennel Assistant to join their hard-working team. We're looking for an outstanding, flexible, enthusiastic and positive person to provide top quality care in line with our unique brand and values at our well-regarded countryside holiday-home for dogs.

You should have a mature attitude, be personable and professional, totally reliable, be a good, positive team-player and demonstrate the following:

• Experience working with animals and a love of dogs (essential)
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Fine attention to detail while working under pressure
• Confident computer-literacy
• Relentless energy and self-motivation.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team

Duties include caring for, feeding and exercising dogs & customer liaison.

Must be available to work on a flexible basis, especially on weekends, public and school holidays.

Shift work: approx. 07:15-11:00 and 15:15-19:00, hours per week (working hours may fluctuate depending on the needs of the business)

Full training and on-going support will be given but a keen attitude to learn new skills rapidly is crucial.

Scope for progression to a supervisory role and to creatively develop the business further.

Own transport is essential due to rural location and living locally is definitely an advantage.
