Dental Veterinary Surgeon Opportunity - Bristol, UK
The client is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join an innovative, independent small animal clinic in one of Bristol's most desirable neighbourhoods. This pioneering practice is focused exclusively on dental care, aiming to transform pet dental health across the UK. The successful candidate will lead a sole charge role, collaborating closely with two confident Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs) who are fully supported to work to their full Schedule 3 remit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-time permanent role, 5 days per week with 8-hour shifts.
- No weekend or out-of-hours work, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule.
- Sole charge responsibility with strong RVN collaboration.
- Varied caseload focused on routine first-opinion dentistry.
- Opportunity to shape and lead the clinic's preventative mission.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in small animal general practice.
- Confidence in routine first-opinion dentistry, including complex dental extractions.
- Ability to manage sole charge and work collaboratively with an empowered nursing team.
- Strong interest in preventative care, client education, and achieving gold-standard patient outcomes.
