Veterinary Surgeon - Surgery Focus

Location: Barnsley State-of-the-Art Practice Independent Group

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Veterinary Surgeon with an interest in surgery to join a forward-thinking team in Barnsley. You'll play a key role in delivering first-class clinical care and excellent customer service, supporting pets and their families to live healthy, happy lives.

In this role, you'll be providing preventive care, treating sick and injured pets, and championing overall pet wellbeing. They seek someone who thrives on teamwork, communicates with ease, and enjoys being part of a supportive, multi-skilled practice.

This Barnsley team includes 3 Veterinary Surgeons and 4 RVNs, each bringing unique skills and special interests. From exotics to advanced imaging, they see an exciting and varied caseload that makes every day different. They also take pride in nurturing the next generation, with students frequently joining them permanently after qualifying.

They've worked hard to create a friendly, neighbourhood feel in the surgery, while also maintaining strong links with the wider community. From fundraising events to educational initiatives, the practice is a positive, people-focused place where both clients and colleagues feel at home. The reception team are well known for their warm welcomes
