The Role
The Assistant Designer provides vital support to the Design Team, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations within the design and development process.
Reporting to the Senior Design Manager and collaborating with the wider team, you will assist with tasks such as:
- Researching trends and gathering inspiration.
- Preparing design presentations
- Supporting the creation of CADs and technical packages and overviews
- Assisting with sample management
- PLM style management
- Achieve management
- Keeping the design office tidy and presentable
With a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a desire to learn, you will help bring designs to life and contribute to the success of our collections. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone eager to start their career in fashion design within a dynamic and supportive team.
You Will
- Demonstrate the Superdry behaviours ‘Deliver with Purpose’ ‘Come as you are, and ‘Do what’s right’

- Identify and resolve routine issues, seek help when necessary, proactively communicate your work status, and request assistance when needed.
- Work within established design processes for straightforward tasks and deliver against objectives with Guidance.
- Handle routine tasks with clear instructions, planning a few hours to a day ahead.
- Deliver on design commitments reliably.
- Play an active role in delivering two seasonal collections and be flexible with in season projects.
- Work closely with the Category Strategy, Design Co-ord and Quality and Technical team to support design development.
- Work cross functionally across Graphics, Branding and Print
- Start to design and develop own product areas.
You Are
- Trained or work experienced within design to a basic level although this is not necessary.
- Passionate and enthusiastic about design and fashion industry.
- Organised and proactive in your approach.
- A good communicator, active listener and patient.
- Self-motivated and driven.
- Respectful and inclusive.
- A team player.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible to adjust quickly to changes and deliver on deadline.
- Competent in the use of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat, etc.)
- Competent in the use of PLM program systems.
