Studio Assistant
Nr. Edge, Stroud
Are you highly organised, creative minded, and looking for a hands on role in a growing design studio?
Zardi & Zardi is a growing design business creating digitally printed fabrics and wallpapers from rural Gloucestershire. We’re looking for a Studio Assistant to join our small, friendly team and play a key role in the day‑to‑day running of the business.
What you’ll be doing:
This is a varied, practical role which sits at the heart of our studio. You’ll work closely with the Studio Manager/Creative Director, helping to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes while contributing to the creative and operational life of the business. Your work will span studio operations, preparing samples and marketing materials, stock control, organising orders and deliveries, keeping our systems up to date, and general office administration. No two days are the same, and your contribution will have a direct impact on the success of the business.
What we are looking for:
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, proactive and detail focused, with good written and verbal communication skills, and who enjoys working in a creative setting while taking ownership of their work. You’ll have experience working with Apple Mac and using Microsoft Office, Photoshop and InDesign, and previous experience of working in an office or studio environment.
Knowledge or experience in interiors, design or print is a bonus, but not essential. Full training will be provided on our internal systems.
The role is full time (35 hours per week) and based on site at Podgwell Barn near Edge, Gloucestershire. Flexible working hours may be considered. Our location is rural, so applicants should consider their travel arrangements when applying; access to a car may be beneficial.
What you will get:
In return, you’ll be joining a friendly, creative business where your contribution is genuinely valued. You’ll gain exposure to the realities of running and growing a design brand, develop a broad skill set, and play an important role in the day to day success of the studio.
If you enjoy variety, creativity, and being part of a small business where your contribution really matters, we’d love to hear from you.
To apply, please send your CV by 31st May by clicking on Apply Now.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a two stage interview process, including a face to face meeting and a trial morning in the studio during June.
