The Role
We are seeking a bright, enthusiastic Assistant Photographer to support us with smaller weekday weddings. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone looking to gain practical experience in professional photography.
This role is a perfect fit for students or those just starting out. You’ll work closely with our lead photographers and play a vital role in ensuring each wedding day runs smoothly.
You do not need your own camera or kit—just a genuine interest in photography and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with equipment carrying, setup, and breakdown
- Help with lighting, posing, and candid guest shots
- Support file management and occasional editing (training provided)
- Liaise with couples and guests in a friendly, professional manner
- Support creative direction as needed
About You
- Keen interest in photography
- Reliable, friendly, and eager to learn
- Available for weekday bookings (flexibility is essential)
- Good communicator and team player
- Punctual with strong attention to detail
Bonus if you have:
- Some photography experience (not essential)
- Driver’s licence and access to transport
