What You’ll Be Doing
- Assembling mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic components
- Building sub-assemblies and full machinery from engineering drawings
- Working with fabricated components — marking out, cutting, folding, pipe bending, and more
- Checking completed assemblies for alignment, dimensions, and quality
- Maintaining a safe and tidy workspace, following all Health & Safety procedures
- Supporting other workshop activities as required
What You’ll Bring
- Strong mechanical or engineering background
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Great attention to detail and a strong team ethic
- Ability to work independently and solve problems logically
- TIG/MIG welding experience (desirable)
- Basic electrical assembly knowledge (a plus)
- Background in aviation, military, marine, or similar industries is advantageous
