Gloucestershire Professional Services (GPS) is recruiting a Trainee Specialist SEND Assessor to join the Learning Support team at Gloucestershire College.
In this role, you will train towards the Level 7 Exam Assessors Qualification while supporting learners with additional needs such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, autism, and visual stress. Working one-to-one with students, you will assess access arrangement requirements and ensure tailored support is in place, particularly for those with EHCPs, medical needs, or centre-delegated exam arrangements.
During your training, you will develop the skills to carry out assessments and complete documentation in line with statutory guidelines. This is a rewarding opportunity to build specialist expertise while helping learners thrive and achieve their potential.

Package: The term time salary includes 7 weeks paid annual leave and bank holiday entitlement. You will benefit from Christmas closure and auto enrolment into the Peoples Pension matched contribution scheme.
