About The Role
We're seeking a motivated and skilled HGV Vehicle Technician to join our dedicated and high-performing team. As part of Ubico, a fast-growing, local authority-owned company delivering essential frontline services you'll play a key role in supporting our operational success.
Reporting to the Fleet Workshop & Maintenance Manager, you'll be responsible for inspecting, servicing, repairing, and maintaining HGVs, light vehicles, plant, and equipment to the required standards, ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures.
You will need…
- City & Guild Craft Certificate in Motor Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent
- Experience of understanding vehicle inspections, servicing and repairing of motor vehicles; working on a mixed fleet would be an advantage.
- Good communication skills, with excellent attention to detail and a flexible approach to work
- Full, valid UK driving licence required

Salary: £43,490 - £44,715 per annum (including shift allowance & tool allowance)
