Must haves

  • Previous experience as a General Manager within the motor trade 
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop teams 
  • Proven experience managing financial performance and delivering business growth
  • Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking abilities 
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

  • Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK

  • Experience working with manufacturer performance metrics and reporting frameworks 
  • Exposure to dealership marketing and business planning activities 

So, what will you be doing?

  • Leading the day-to-day operations of multiple dealership departments 
  • Taking full accountability for financial performance across sales, aftersales, and parts functions 
  • Coaching and developing leadership teams to achieve operational and commercial targets 
  • Creating and delivering strategies to achieve growth, profit, and performance objectives
  • Producing accurate forecasts, reports, and business performance updates 
  • Driving exceptional customer satisfaction across all departments 
  • Ensuring compliance with company, manufacturer, and regulatory requirements 
  • Using business data and performance metrics to identify opportunities and address challenges
